You’re the wicked man with a bucket on your head and a broom in hand.

Watch Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. Clunky Hero is an extremely popular platform.

It costs 12.49 from the Xbox Store (expect to pay roughly that elsewhere), and is sold to the Chaosmonger Studio which created it in a story-driven platformer called metroidvania. There’s nothing too fancy here, and we’ve played many games to do this. The difference with Clunky Hero is its build-up in a lot of RPG elements and a few til moments. Most of all though humour.

This is a funny story, a chance to share a lot of characters as you solve the side quests and puzzles. Whether that humour hits or not is up for debate, and if its a matter of feeling, its tense vibes are at the same level as the action. As it is stated in our full report of Clunky Hero, the title of the game was always going to be difficult to change. It feels a bit slow, hard, a bit dirty, not bitter.

Even though she has a good personality, she’s not a good one. It delivers a vast game area and a lot of content at the asking price. But the combat is simple and the main character is, well, unlikeable.

If you do delve in, you’ll have a story about the importance of that particular human being being: to a human nature and to the ultimate of all evil. Rufus (and his wife), is his main character who has been living one thing and is a thing of all ordinary life and not as the devil. He’s got only a bucket as a helmet and a broom as a weapon. What on earth could go wrong? Were we right?

Playing the same hand-drawn background, as well as looking for a Clunky Hero, then catch the best of the games you might ever enjoy at the same time, as a PC or Xbox One player. This is the first of many of the games that you may want to play this week.

Game Description:

Clunky Hero is a story-driven platformer metroidvania, and with a hint of RPG, HacknSlash and an awful lot of humor. If you want to play an arcade where you have a funny story, can talk to characters, solve a side quest, find and buy goods, change weapons and wearables, with great hand-drawn-looking backgrounds presented in a very comical way, then Clunky Hero might be your imagination! STORYLINE In a village far, from where the dull peasant known as Rufus lived a good, ordinary life. The wife of the house’s boss, Brunilde, is a handsome and humorous woman that you wouldn’t even call pretty. The life was nice and happy in the village, until one day, awakened by a magic mistake, the evil one started spreading his mutilations around town, doing hideous acts against the people. Most feared was the kidnapping of Brunilde. She was torn from Rufus hands and went to the Evil Ones castle and was put to a prison. She turns into a blondie girl with duck face, now spends her whole time sitting in a handcrafted mirror. In order to win her back, Rufus made a helmet from a bucket and picked an broom as a weapon. Everyone now calls him the CLUNKY HERO, but he may be the only hope to defeat the evil one that nobody wants to call by name.
